This trip was our first “just us” getaway in several years. We chose Lagoons RV Resort because we wanted a mix of comfort, solitude, and gentle exploration.

Mornings began with coffee in the rig, quiet conversation, a walk around the grounds. Then we’d venture out—maybe to beaches, maybe to a local gallery or historic house—hand in hand, leisurely.

Lunches were casual: sandwiches, seafood cafés, shared plates. Afternoons, we swam together, read side by side, napped.

Evenings were special: a sunset drive along the coast, then dinner in Rockport (seafood, candlelight). Back at the rig, we popped a bottle of sparkling cider (nonalcoholic) and sat under stars, listening to night sounds. Later, we danced slowly at the clubhouse event; sometimes we just sat on our outdoor chairs leaning into each other.

For couples: bring a special playlist, favorite dessert, maybe a portable speaker, and leave flexibility to just be.
