We intended not just rest, but to stay active. Lagoons RV Resort has amenities and nearby options that encourage movement.
Resort features: indoor pickleball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, walking paths. We played pickleball in the late morning, competed in a shuffleboard match, and walked laps around the property.
We also ran or walked to Memorial Park and local trails; rented kayaks or paddleboards (in town) for light workouts; and even joined a morning stretch session in the clubhouse when it was offered.
One afternoon, I led a small “trail walk & nature scavenger hunt” for kids and adults: find five different leaf types, identify a bird, locate seashell, photograph something blue, etc.
Staying active doesn’t have to be intense—mix gentle movement, fun games, walking, light sports—Lagoons supports that balance.
