We brought our bicycles, and right away, we discovered how convenient it was to ride around the resort and nearby routes.

Inside Lagoons, paths and roads are paved or firm enough for comfortable cycling or walking. We used early mornings to ride the loops, wave at neighbors, and survey landscaping.

One day, we rode to Memorial Park (nearby) and took walking trails, observed local flora and birds, and paused on benches overlooking water. Another afternoon, we pedaled toward local shops in Rockport, stopping for ice cream or coffee.

Walking, too, is easy—quiet mornings and evenings, people wandering, dogs walked, neighbors chatting. For seniors or less mobile, routes are gentle; for those wanting more distance, bring a bicycle or e-bike.

Tips: bring helmets, a basket or rack for light loads, water bottles, and a map or GPS of local roads (ask at the resort).
